You get what you pay for
I only buy a leash to avoid being hassled by the people on the lifts. Got the nice rasta colored one and it felt secure and looked nice .. until I lost one half of the buckle once I unstrapped while leaving the resort. In the end it only cost me a few bucks and I'd buy it again, just attach to something more secure on my binding. When I think about it though, I have never gotten hassled by anyone at Tahoe or Big Bear, but I like have the leash for my own piece of mind as I have seen what happens when a board goes down the mountain without a rider
