Sooo soft...
I purchased this jacket for my daughter, who attends college in Wisconsin. We can't say yet how windproof, warm, or durable it will be, but it is so soft she refuses to take it off! It is somewhat fitted and runs a little smaller than most Columbia items. My daughter is 5' 5", 125. The cut of this jacket is flattering on her curvy shape. I bought her a small. A medium would be too loose. It hits about mid-hip. It doesn't have enough room for heavy layering.

Excellent quality, a beautiful coat
I got this coat because I wanted something heavier weight than the Columbia Benton Springs jackets I have. And it is perfect. I think the jacket looks far better than how it appears in pictures. I am really impressed with the quality that Columbia puts in their clothing for an extremely reasonable price. Regarding sizing, I am 5'3" 112 lbs. Thought a size Small would work but decided to go up to the Medium because I wanted some room to put a layer or 2 underneath. The arms and armpits were a little tight with the Small, it depends on whether you want to layer underneath or not. So the Medium's a little big for me but it's really cozy and snuggly and sturdy at the same time. I got the Deep Teal color and it's just beautiful, way prettier than it appears in the pictures. And the fleece looks really elegant and feels warm. It's extremely well constructed. It's a fantastic buy and I love wearing it. I also have to put in a plug for the OUTSTANDING service Altrec gave. I kept ordering more of the jackets to try different sizes and everyone I dealt with went all the way to provide excellent service, I mean, I kept thinking wow, this is an amazing company...if I didn't like working as a Forest Ranger so much I would have asked them for an application, Altrec does things right!!

Nice jacket
I purchased this jacket for my daughter. This is a really good looking jacket. It's very comfortable and fits true to size. My only complaint is in the online description, thumbholes are indicated and also, on the Columbia tags attached to the jacket, but there are NO thumbholes. This was a disappointment. It was one of the features that drew me to this jacket.

Best Purchase Ever
I Purchased Columbia Women's Wind Groove Fleece Jacket as a Christmas gift. BEST PRICE found from Altrec. The fit is true to size and very good quality. Very warm for Cleveland's wind and winter.

Warm with Style
I actually chose this jacket over another brand considered to be better which was more than 2X as expensive. This one is much better made. It has a nice fitted style, and the medium is true to size. (I'm 5'9'', 150 lbs) I also really like the elastic sleeve cuffs which eliminate draft in the sleeves. The hem adjustment cord is in the pockets of the jacket-- a nice addition. Not to mention, the softness. All around, great buy.
