loved the pants
I love these pants very much. They are well made a perfect for the fickle weather conditions of the great outdoor since they are convertible.

great pants..... but small
strong, well made pants. But definitely get a size larger since they are sized on the smaller side.

great pants but too long and too big
I took the previous reviews about the small sizing and ordered a size 12 instead of my usual 8. They were huge. Even the length of a short was slightly long at 30" for the inseam (I'm 5' 2"). Be careful if you are a short as the length of the zip-off shorts remain at 12" inseam. Otherwise, the fabric and the features, such as UPF 50 and moisture wicking, make these an excellent choice for hot climate and humidity use.

Great pants, but small sizing and no stretch
These pants are great with two small exceptions: sizing is very small (I typically wear a 4 and the 6 is pretty snug), and they have no stretch (which is all the more noticeable when they fit small). Otherwise, they are a good-looking [con-vert]able pant which keep me cool and dry on long day hikes.

Nice pants, but not the best ones for me
These seem like really great pants, but there were a few things I didn't like, and found ones I liked better, so I sent them back. First of all, I found the pant leg zippers to be a bit difficult to zip and unzip. There is a thin cloth strip that goes across the zipper that I have never seen before on other zippers. It makes it really easy for the zipper to stick. The novelty of these pants is the convenience of being able to take the pant legs on and off at a moments notice, but if the zippers are going to give me difficulty, then it ruins it. I bought convertible pants from another brand and the zippers came off and on very smoothly. Another thing I didn't like is that once the pant legs are off, the edges of the shorts are the zipper. There is not an extra layer of cloth that covers the zipper part, like in other convertible pants. So, it is obvious when you wear the shorts that they are convertible pants and I think having the zipper showing looks a bit tacky.
