Another great Columbia product!
I am very pleased with how these boots fit and with the quality of the leather outer. I think these boots will be great cold-weather fare--especially during this, my first winter in Minnesota! The only reason I gave these boots 4/5 stars is the fact that Altrec posted a picture of what was apparently an old model of this boot. For the color I ordered (black), the lining appeared solid black in the picture--it is instead BRIGHT WHITE. The lining is visible by design, so I would definitely have preferred it as pictured. Additionally, the laces appeared to unite in a drawstring design in the picture--in reality, they are elastic laces that tie. These items will not prevent me from enjoying the boots. The fit for my long foot (11) is wonderful--not too wide, gappy, or ill-fitting as many winter boots are. The heels curve in at the back which create a snug and comfortable encasement for the foot. I'm excited to wear them.
