Good lightweight hiking pants
I really like this line of Columbia products. As with most of their pants, they do have a slimmer "active" fit compared to other brands. The material is extremely lightweight, which I prefer in hiking pants and shorts.

comfortable lightweight fabric, but run tight
I typically wear a size 4, but these ran a bit tight, especially for casual active pants like these. I decided to keep them for "skinny" days. Ordering a size up might be wise.

very thin material
the material is very thin, making it light, cool and easy to pack, but be warned that your underwear might show through especially if you got the lighter color fossil. perhaps the darker color will give better "coverage". Although I was a bit disappointed because they sent me size 2 instead of the 4 that I ordered, I will still buy from Altrec as that was only 1 mistake out of the countless orders I made with them. They do have great prices and service!
