Best hiker--perfect fit
These boots fit perfectly right from the moment I first tried them on. I have a very hard time finding shoes/boots since I usually wear a 12N. These boots are regular width, but they are just right. I can wear two pairs of socks for winter hiking or one pair for summer hiking. I have only hiked once so far, but they performed beautifully. This hike was on snow-covered ground. I do not know yet how 'waterproof' they will be. The lacing system allows for a nice tight fit, if desired. Also, there is well more than an inch of lacing width showing...those with narrow feet know how we usually have to tighten the laces all the way together so the sides almost overlap. Finally, these boots are also very nice looking, and this is the first time I can say that my feet actually look small!

Wife loved this boot. Purchased the Packus Ridge for hiking in Glacier National Park. Boots were perfect. I have a very happy wife!

So comfortable!!
I have worn this brand before and really love the fit -- tried these on as soon as they arrived and they feel awesome! I need good arch support (ususally put orthodics in my shoes) and these already feel very supportive! I bought them anticipating many kilometers of hiking in Switzerland in June ... I'm confident they'll have me comfortable every step. I'm usually a 7 1/2 shoe but an 8 fits just right. Great price and super speedy shipping ... thank you and I'll be back for more!

I love these shoes
I love these shoes. I bought them to go in the snow and hiking in the woods. Great traction! I did not slip on the ice and snow on our trip. I have not tried them for hiking yet, but I know they will be great!

Not Bad at All
This was my first purchase of a sportswear and the boots were not bad at all. Of course, I didn't have previous experience to compare it with but my criteria were simple: cozy, keeps my feet warm and non-slip. This purchase experience with Altrec is impressive and have already recommended it to friends either for play in the snow or under the sun. I will definitely shop again.
