I recieved jacket quickly,fast shipping always feels good.The fit was perfect.The next day i travelled to new york where the weather was perfect for this jacket,it was just warm enough,kept me dry in rainstorms and looks great.

Just what I was looking for
light weight and water proof. Fit is good, enough room to move arms. My iphone is secure in zip pocket. I like the Columbia brand because their products are the real deal.

Comfort and Quality
First thing first, this is a windbreaker shell only, there is no insulation. That is what I was expecting and I am glad this is the case as some of the reviews were confusing. Second, it is a soft-ish material that feels somewhat like microsuede, very nice, quiet, and still water repellant. The quality is great and the cut feels good, and the color looks nice. It is fairly basic though, no hood in the collar, and no underarm zippers, but there is one external and one internal chest pocket and two side pockets, plus a waist cinch. Overall I'm very happy with the jacket for what it is, and its not short on comfort or quality.

Venture Creek jacket
Love the jacket except the cuffs are rough on the tops of my hands. Hopefully it'll soften up after a few washed.
