Top Notch Travel Shorts
The Columbia Utilizer shorts are terrific for travel. With their quick dry fabric you can wash them, roll them in a towel, hang them up, and they are ready to wear within a few hours. The fabric stays crisp looking - no annoying wrinkles. With a hook and loop closure on one rear pocket and a zipper on the other, you can carry wallets and valuables without fear of them slipping out of the pocket. An added bonus is the zippered pocket on the seam along the thigh - perfect size to secure your passport, so there is never a fear of that disappearing when you go in and out of other pockets. I give these shorts an A+++

Seemed pretty good but too large
Material was great - comfortable lightweight but waist was too big. Ordered a 32 inch like always, but that were far too big. Altrec shipping was incredibly fast though. I'm on the east coast and they arrived two days after ordering.

very comfortable and light feeling
My husband received the Columbia Utilizer Shorts yesterday and just loves them. I find the customer service great as I did a live chat with "Zach" because I wanted to order more in the color grill but they were sold out. I have never had such a great online experience. He loves the color and texture of the shorts

Great shorts.
Nice fit. They are made of a comfortable lightweight fabric that allows good movement. They have become my favorite shorts for hiking.

Comfortable and Functional
I bought these for my boyfriend to take to New Orleans for JazzFest! He wore them the entire time. He said they were comfortable, but I appreciated the neater cleaner appearance as opposed to canvas type cargo shorts. And it did rain a lot during JazzFest and having quick dry shorts was a godsend.
