5 star light jacket
I tend to get cold easily, even though I live in the south-eastern US. probably because I'm just not used to it. Therefore, I look for jackets that will keep me warm when it does finally get cold. I was very impressed with this Jacket. I do own several heavy jacket, but, by far this one is the best because is light and it does compare to other heavy jacket , but is a light one. I'm an outdoorsman fisherman.

Very happy with my Columbia Torque
You won't find this info anywhere else- the jacket weighs 15 oz. If you follow a layering strategy, this is a great shell for you... this shell is waterproof and windproof. There is just enough material on the inside of the jacket to keep the nylon outer shell from resting directly against your arms (which can sometimes feel clammy- especially if it is raining). I am 5' 6" tall and weigh 167 lbs, and the Medium shell fits perfectly. I plan on wearing a 12 oz down jacket underneath it sometimes, and there is room in the shell for that (plus a synthetic t-shirt or thin base layer). The hood is a must-have feature for anyone serious about having a weather-proof shell, and the jacket compresses down to the size of two baseballs.
