Very Good Pants
I got these only recently, so I cannot comment on the durability, but the pants seem to be of excellent quality and I have high expectations for the future. In terms of warmth and waterproof, this is an excellent buy - I recently skied for 2 days in VT in mid 20's conditions, and I stayed warm and dry at all times (I did wear underpants though, but I consider this a given for all ski pants). The fit is also very good - there was enough room to feel comfortable at all times, and yet they are not too baggy. There are plenty of very conveniently located pockets, which is not the most important criteria to judge a pair of pants, but helps a lot. The OmniHeat seems to work pretty well, and you get a very warm and versatile product, which is still light and convenient. My only reservation is that the pants could be an inch longer - I am 6'1'' and the M fits very well, especially for ski boots. However just a little bit of extra length would be better for hiking (I did get size L before that, and those were enormously large). Overall, a pretty good pair of pants

Great for ski
I used this pant for skiing at 10F, I must say the Omni-heat definitely works, i just had a thermal pant and had no cold. It has a lot of pockets, some of them with zipper that allows you to carry things safe and comfortable. I bought a large size and it fit perfect, im 6.0feet 34-36 size in jeans.

Definitely consider these ski pants
I was looking for a new pair of warm and waterproof ski pants with lots of accessory capabilities and when I found the Ridge 2 Run from Columbia I it seemed reasonably priced to try. I am very happy with them and glad i didn't spend the extra on something crazy like spyder, because these are comfortable, durable, and the do their job well! I gave it 5 stars because I couldn't find anything wrong with them. Sure there might be a better pair of ski pants out there but for the cost and quality I would definitely recommend this pair.

Overall good quality with lots of extras
I have been able to wear these new pants in some varied winter conditions while skiing over the last couple of weeks. First off when I got them they fit bigger than last pair of Columbia Cargo Ski pants that I have and the snap closure for the waist is not secure, so a belt is a must. Besides the Snap not staying snaped at the waist these pants have a lot of great features. Tons of Pockets that are either zippered or multi velcroed for snow proofing. The inner thigh vents are nice as the new reflector insulation seems to work very well and it's nice to dump some heat at lunch or at the end of the day, sometimes on the lift. The waterproofing seems to work well. I got the Mud color and they are more dark tan color as opposed to the Grey that they appear on the net, nice color. They are a comfortable fit and I'm very happy with the quality so far.

Warm on the Slopes
Used these pants last weekend and all I can say is "wow!". They have lots of room in the legs for maneuvering, handy cargo pockets that can hold lots of stuff, the OmniHeat kept me warm and the vents are in a great spot (interior portion of the legs). The only 'con' I have with them is I can't find a lift ticket 'connector'. So I had to put it on my jacket...but that wasn't really a problem.
