I am very pleased with this jacket. It is about the same weight (i.e. warmth) as the Columbia Ascender but adds adjustable cuffs and an outside chest pocket. I like having adjustable cuffs. Performance is impressive. It cuts the wind, sheds water, and breathes well. I think it provides just enough insulation alone for down to about 30 degrees. Add a light sweater/fleece underneath and 20 degrees is comfortable. It is a great jacket for hikes or kicking around town. Size is accurate. Well done Columbia.

Excellent jacket
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. It's stylish but extremely practical. Clean lines, lightweight, durable and completely waterproof. Highly recommended!

lucky find
I have yet to put this jacket to any real tests. The construction seems solid and the design is simple. I have another jacket by Columbia made from a similar material and it has been amazing so I have high hopes for this one.
