great pants
I bought a pair of these from Altrec several months ago. I liked them so much that I just bought two more. They fit well, they stay looking good over time. I wear them to the office, and stay comfortable all day, but also enjoy them for casual outings + hiking. {Not only would I recommend them for a friend, I recommend them for myself :-) }

Good Purchase
I just received the men's High Line Ridge Pants and have only worn them for one day but am very happy that I purchased them. I am 6 ft and 175 lbs. The Medium size and 34 inseam is right on and very confortable. The quality of the pants appear to be good and looks like it will hold up in the outdoors and on the trails. I will probably order another pair of these pants.

almost perfect
I have been looking for womens light weight tech pants and have been largely dissatisfied many looked good, but fit too snugly to be practical or had mostly useless pockets, or had an impractical (for hiking with full pockets) low rise, or were just too short so, I went looking in the mens department. The size Small in these pants fits the bill pretty nicely. I am 58, 130lb, typically 33 inseam; these pants had pockets in all the right places, fit well without looking too much like I was wearing mens pants, and the 32 inseam was fine. The only complaint I have is that they are a tad noisy and make that scrith, scrith scrith sound when you walk. However, I believe that is the price you pay for the bonus of being reasonably water repellant if you catch it quick, a spill just brushes off.
