Bomber built shorts
I recently purchased these Gore Mountain shorts because had to return a pair of Columbia Silver Ridge cargo shorts because they developed a whole in the rear right pocket. While these shorts are not synthetic and don't fill the role of the others they were replacing, they are undoubtedly the most durable feeling shorts I have ever owned. The material is very thick and abrasion resistant. They fit lose but not excessively so, they are comfortable enough to lounge around in, but nice enough to go out in. Very well constructed, I am confident that they could handle anything you could throw at them. Highly recommended.

Comfortable Shorts
Looks and feels well made. Felt comfortable, and just the right length and size for me. Not too baggy and the pockets are the right size, which is great if you are doing a lot of serious walking around.

Not long enough
Great shorts, but not long enough for me. I have longer leggs. The 12 inch is more like a 10 inch for me, I need more like a 14 inch for tall guys in these shorts, for them to work for my taste.
