GREAT pair of shorts!
A young 59 year old,6'1' and 185 pounds finds these shorts to be a perfect fit! After researching and looking at various shorts I picked these and got them within a day or so of my order. I opened the package and put them on...and left them on for a great afternoon hike! The shorts have great features for a long hike in the mountains or along the coast. They are my choice for an active outdoor day...and I've now reorder an additional pair!

Great Gear
I work as an air boat tour guide at Wild Willy's Air Boat Tours In Kissimmee FL. These shorts are indestructible. They take a beating on six passenger boats 12 hours a day in the swamp. They are cool in the blistering heat of the Florida summer and stains are easily washed out. So far after a years use they have faded very little and haven't even lost a button.

Lookd all over for these shorts as had a pair prior and LOVED them. Found on Altrec and received very quickly. Great fit, great material. True to size. Am ordering 6 more pairs since I can't find them anywhere.

Ideal edition of hard-to-find item
Whatever happened to decent cargo shorts with 7-9" inseams? My erstwhile favorite retailer in Maine has nothing in these sizes except with pockets too small. Enter Columbia, whose Cliff Lakes 7" shorts are perfectly sized for the short of stature, and with cargo pockets large enough to hold a wallet along with a ballpoint pen. Living in these shorts all summer and into the fall.

Excellent Purchase
I have always worn columbia shorts. After finding out it was hard to get the Armitage shorts, I decided to try the cliff lakes. They are very comfortable and durable. They have alot of pockets on them and they look GREAT!
