Is calling in sick for a powder day really lying? Were not here to judge. Make the most of your sick day" with the all-day, all-weather warmth of the Carabineer Glove. It features both Omni-Heat thermal insulation (the highest heat retention per ram in the industry) and Omni-Heat thermal reflectivity (it reflects your body heat right back at you while wicking moisture and breathing). The bladder is highly waterproof and breathable, so youll stay dry and comfy through blizzards and fast-paced bump runs. A second leather overlay reinforces the thumb and forefinger to ward off ski-pole abrasion. The neoprene cuff is comfortable and securely fitting, and the leather palm is super durable and grippy. A soft nose-wipe zone on the thumb has you covered until you can grab a tissue in the lift line.

Perfect
A great fitting glove. Neoprane wrist provides a great barrier for wind and snow. Light yet warm, even in a Michigan winter. Bought these for the car but found they provide more warmth than expected. Use them for a quick driveway shovel and walks around the neighborhood. Constuction is sound and though they're still new, hope to have them for seasons to come. Sizing has been an issue with some Columbia gloves I've purchased. My hand measures 7 1/4" from wrist to middle finger and the small "fits like a glove."
Great, 100% waterproof gloves!
These gloves are 100% waterproof as advertised, and warm. I bought these for skiing, snowboarding, and general playing in the snow around the Seattle area. Since I go to Snoqualmie pass a lot with often slushy snow, any winter glove has to be 100% waterproof. When I first got these, I had to test their waterproofness (is that a word?), so I filled up the sink and washed the dishes while wearing them. These gloves are way too warm for me to use in anything but near-freezing weather! The Omni-Heat insulation makes them warm, but if your hands are wet, they can be a bit tough to pull on. On my first real-world test, they performed admirably. I run hot and normally ski in a t-shirt and shorts under my waterproof shell and pants, but my hands tend to get cold when teaching others and standing around. These kept my hands warm while teaching my girlfriend to snowboard. The thin cuffs easily slip under the cuffs of a softshell or a ski jacket. I use these a lot with just a shirt on because the thin cuff keeps snow out where a gauntlet style glove would not. The velcro closure does a good job of keeping the glove on your hand and fingers to the ends (a gripe of mine on other gloves). Dexterity could be a little better for the insulation level. Fingers tend to move around a little. The leather palms and extra layer in the thumb/index finger crotch remain flexible in 15F weather and seem quite durable. I see room for improvement in dexterity and it seems like water can sit in between the shell and the waterproof layer and feel a bit cold, even if no water is getting in. These gloves run true to size: I am a L in most other gloves, and these fit perfectly, with thumb length ideal for my average proportioned hands) Bottom-line: for the type of gloves these are, they are very good. I see room for improvement, but not enough to take a star off.
Very comfortable warm gloves
Bought gloves as an all purpose glove. I am very satistified with the comfort and warmt of these gloves
Great fitting glove extremely warm well made, spent about 6 hrs out with the snowblower the other day my hands were always warm and comfortable will be ordering another pair for my wife
Snowblower season beckons...needed warmth
I really needed to replace this season the old gloves I had been using when snowblowing.....these arrived the day before we got 15" of new snow... Pluses....very warm and water resistant...so warm in fact that my hands were sweating after blowing and shoveling for 3 1/2 hours...comfortable and flexible.... Minuses...bought the largest size available (XL)..were a little tighter than I would have liked, but being 6'4" has always presented fit problems in gloves...while the lining is comfortable, I did feel that they took a little longer to dry out than I would have liked, without throwing them into the drier... I would recommend to others, especially when you compare the quality to the price...very happy with my purchase
