The Columbia shorts can be worn for variety of needs, from plain walking in hot weather to water needs. Size can be easily adjusted. There were an additional pair added to my wardrobe because the first serves me so well

My husband is hard to shop for because of his size, but Altrec offers a better selection of brands, sizes and colors that most stores don't have.
