Not really a ski jacket
I bought this jacket for my 7 year old daughter to wear when skiing. It was listed in the "ski jackets" section. However, when I received the jacket I found that it did not have an extra layer of fleece lining, like the Columbia Bugaboo jacket that I bought for her older sister. It would probably be fine for skiing in sunny, 40 degree conditions but I don't think it would be good on a cold and cloudy ski day. I returned it and the folks at Altrec customer service were great.
