These are the best fitting, and most comfortable jeans I have ever worn, other than a pair of jeans that are 16 years old, and broken in perfectly, but too snug to wear any longer. The price on sale was fair as well. The fabric has a good hand as well. Most jeans for women are too light weight for winter comfort even in the central valley of ca. Flannel lined may be my next pair of Carhartt jeans, but this pair running around doing errands on 38 degree day kept me warm. It's so nice to find 100% cotton jeans again. I do not like jeans with stretch, because they all are so thin in weight. I wonder why 15 oz. denim isn't used for the women's Carhartt jeans as in the men's Carhartt relaxed fit straight leg. I can't imagine how great a 15 oz denim must feel! I am very happy with these jeans, and I will probably not have to purchase another pair for 20 years, or if I get lucky and lose weight! They are really that strong even in 13.5 oz. denim! I used the fit chart and it was accurate. Choosing my waist size, I probably could have gone down one size but I wanted a more relaxed fit overall. It worked, but even when they stretch out after awhile, they stay up without that constant tugging I usually do with other jeans. I know I could wear a belt, but I like the feel, and lack of a bump a belt causes. Now, I am 190, 35.5 inch waist, 5'9 and a size 18 was the choice I made with a 32" inseam. The pants have a good break at the boot, which is a flat boot, and appear more loose than relaxed, but they fit in the seat, rise, and waist with great comfort. I hope this helps others to find a fit as I did.

The carhartt jeans are just what I wanted.

These are great,
I have been looking for a pair of women's jeans-meaning 100% cotton, sans all things "stretchy" and "destressed", for a long time. In addition, these also fit well. I will getting another pair.

4 - Super jean for both casual work days and weekends.
The only reason I wasn't able to give these pants a 5 was because the description stated that these were "... for cold weather comfort... made of rugged denim." I found the material to be more of a lightweight denim. The fit was exactly as described and true to size. I'll be ordering more of these in the future.
