Well, I was expecting the durability of the Men's carhartt & the women's were not as... tough. Also the length seemed to me to run a little on the short side.

Fit a little oddly.
Good sturdy pants, but the fit is very strange. They tapered a lot at the top and are pretty high-waisted. They run really small in the waist, so buy at least one size up than you normally do.

Weird proportions
Sorry I had to send these back, as I really want some well made, heavy-weight, all cotton casual pants with decent features (like pockets you can actually use). Both sizes were too tight in the waist, fit nicely in the rear, but had empty pouches of fabric sticking out at the hips and in the belly area -- the latter hanging in folds that looked like pleats! This even on the size 2. Very disappointing as I was hoping for a nice fit similar to the Carhartts for men.
