LOVE this shirt.
No one would ever think I would be extoling the virtues of Carhartt, but since buying this shirt (two of them, in fact, and another as a gift), I'm a Carhartt enthusiast. I've since bought the men's version of this shirt as a gift, a Carhartt Sandstone jacket and hood, and even a hat. First and foremost is the quality, and Carhartt earns five stars in that regard. This shirt is just the right weight to feel cozy indoors and to wear outside on a brisk day. I love the color (a very dark taupe, to my eye) and the contrasting flannel lining (which has lavender hues). When you turn the cuffs up, the lining shows. The best part is the FIT. The princess seams give it a femine, even flattering fit, and the length is just right, not too long, not too short. The curved hem is flattering, as well. As for washing/shrinkage, I believe it did shrink just a SLIGHT little bit in length, but unless I had been looking for it, I don't think I would have even noticed. If there were more colors of this shirt, I'd talk myself into buying another one.
