Worth it
I bought these a couple of months ago. I have worn them in cold weather, out hunting, working on the house, and just about everywhere else. They are extrememly comfortable and warm. I wanted to be able to wear them over a couple of layers of clothing so I went up a size. They come pretty roomy already so mine are a little on the baggy side so I would recommend being careful with the sizing. They also come pretty long which is good because I am over 6 ft. tall and it is nice to find work pants that are long enough to cover my ankles.
Awesome
Received product in no time.. Seem to be great overalls just by looking at them. I'm still waiting to test them out this winter. Really good construction. You cant go wrong with Carhartt.
Wonderful Biberalls!
Received this item and found them to be just what I expected! And a great price!!
Wonderful for cold weather work!
After having owned a few pairs of insulated bibs, I find these to be the most comfortable and useful. The bibs see service mostly for timber cutting and firewood splitting. I've really put these to the test, scuffing them with bucked wood as I lift it onto a splitter, and snagging them on my chainsaws as I walk through the woods. After better than 100 days in the woods the bibs show no damage. I particularly enjoy the zippered chest pockets featured in these. The zipper allows me to keep my cell phone and other some items available, but out of harms way.
Predictable Carhartt toughness
As with any Carhartt product, these things are tough as nails. I use them working construction and they have been through the gauntlet and came out clean. The quilt lining provides ample insulation without being too bulky, and is slick enough to make it easy to slide them on and off of my baselayers. The long leg zippers are also extremely helpful when using tall lace-up boots. The only issue I had were the initial stiffness of the duck materials. The description claims after a few washes they start to soften up, but I found it took closer to a month and a half before it felt like i wasnt wearing cardboard. Once they are broken in, however, you'll love them.
