Great jacket but runs big
This would be my 2nd Carhartt jacket - the other is the Sierra jacket with the Sherpa lining. I bought that one in a L/Tall (I'm 6'4", 220lbs) and it fits perfectly - however, this one in a L/Tall runs a little too big in the torso and is has a longer length. I think it's actually supposed to be called a "Coat" - Carhartt's jackets are shorter lengths than their coats. So if you like the jacket length and normally get a tall, I'd get this as a regular length. But you can't beat the quality of Carhartt and the Sherpa lining is soft and warm.

Jacket for my dad
I purchased this jacket as a gift for my dad and he loved it. I first ordered the detroit style jacket, but got the wrong size. That style seemed to run a little small so I ordered this coat instead. It cost more, but this style was much better - lining softer, coat longer, pockets in the right place, and more true to size. My dad usually wears a medium shirt, but I got the large jacket since it would be over clothes. I made a good choice, slightly big, but good fit.

Gift
I purchased this jacket for my grandson since my husband had worn one for many years. It is an excellent product and I would highly recommend it for fit, durability and warmth.

Great Coat
This coat is fantastic!!! Everything I expected and more. Guys at work have Carhartt and nothing but good. I`m totally sold. Now have my eye on a vest. Thanks Altrec, its all good.

Sleeves too long proportionately but great coat
I am returning this and ordering a smaller size because it is a great coat for the price and will be very durable, as all Carhartt's seem to be. My experience is with the return process. They answered my email and provided me with a return authorization the next day which is great service.
