Its two side-seam pockets are lined for warmth. spandex-reinforced rib-knit cuffs and waistband are stretch for comfort, and are designed to keep cold out. Carhartt thermal-lined crewneck
This is the second one of these I've bought for my boyfriend and he loves them. He works outside and in the winter he can wear a t-shirt, this sweatshirt & his Carhartt vest and he's good to go. He's about 5'10", 185 lbs and I bought him a Large. I'd say the fit is generous - you can fit a few layers underneath, but I don't think you'll need 'em! Plus, I had a hard time finding this in stores so was very happy to find it here on Altrec, and for a decent price. Another happy customer!
