EXcellent Overall Pack
Bought this for rock climbing trips but it is clear this pack meets all the needs of anyone going on a 2-4 day trek whether on skis, snowshoes, or hiking boots. Ample storage space which is not impacted by the amazing 3 liter bladder. Water access system is excellent, does not block and shuts off easily with stopcock that is easy to operate with one hand. Tons of strap-on rings located all over the pack and strap-down areas for tent, sleeping bag, showboard, skis, poles or whatever else you need to carry. Light-weight and sturdy pack which I highly recommend to anyone for 2-4 day trips.

I did not buy this pack for myself, but as a gift to a boyfriend who loves to ski. It had all the attributes that he was looking for...insulated hydration tube, capability to hold skis/snowboard, a helmet holder, and plenty of space on the inside. It also has a padded pocket for goggles, and plenty of small compartments for knick-knacks. I chose Camelback mostly for quality, but also for its value in comparison to other brands (northface, columbia, etc.)

Fantastic Pack!
I just recently upgraded from and old MULE to this pack, and I have to say it was a great decision. Just got back from Squaw Valley in California. Held all my gear and extra layers. It was very comfortable the whole day, I ran almost every blue and back run in the place and it never slowed me down. being able to strap the board onto the pack was also a great feature, allowed me to walk up higher on the mountains for the fresh stuff and made it easier going and coming back to my truck. Altrec shipped it fast, also had the best price. Thanks guys.

It's very comfortable on your back and with the special pocket for camelbak it's the best vote for you....! I juts got the great opportunity to try it in the mountain and it' really great!! Great Pak
Plenty of storage space to hold an extra layer of clothing and food. The waist-strap makes carrying the pack feel like it's not even there even with the bladder full of water and the pack stuffed full of supplies (GPS, food, heat blanket, etc.). The ability to strap skis to the pack came in handy more than once. The insulated water tube never came close to freezing.
