Designed as a lightweight and stable alternative to floppy running fanny packs, the CamelBak FlashFlo 45 oz Lumbar Pack is a reliable solution for trail runners and fast day hikers who can't afford to go thirsty. With a 45-oz. (1.4-liter) capacity, the CamelBak FlashFlo rivals the hydration potential of most water bottle fanny packs without the threat of catapulting sloshing bottles on rugged or twisting terrain. The wide mouth Omega reservoir opening is accessible from outside the pack, making it easy to refill without removing the hydration pouch from the pack. There's also a secure pocket sized right for your MP3 or CD player and a pair of compact headphones. An additional smaller external zippered pocket stores your SUV keys, hotel card, energy bars and other small essentials. Compact, jiggle-free design with a 1.4-liter capacity and room for a CD or MP3 music player.

Camelbak Flashflo
This is my first Camelbak and I love it! Great way to stay hydrated during long runs (10+ miles). Extra pockets are great for keys, phone, gel packs, etc. The pack bounced at first but after some quick adjusting it stays in place. Love the convenience of the tube and bite valve. Reservoir is fairly easy to fill. I did not receive instructions so I'm still determining the best way to clean the reservoir and tube. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase!
Where are the instructions?
My camelbak "flashflo" arrived today and, surprisingly, came with no instructions. This is quite frustrating since I'd rather not guess at how to uncap the bladder and, thereby, risk damaging the unit. I've had to resort to searching the web for instructions and have found nothing so far. I'm hoping this is not an indication of the quality of the product. Otherwise, it's a nifty, cute little thing and I can't wait to use it. I've just begun to run on a regular basis and would never attempt it without the means to keep myself hydrated at 55 years old. I'll have more to say once I've figured out how to feel the thing with water. As for now, I can only give a 3 star rating for the lack of instructions.
