For serious all-terrain riders who want a little more cushion in a performance binding design.
If you're an advanced or expert all-terrain rider who wants a little more cushion but not a binding that goes soft on technical terrain, Burton's P1 is a comfortable choice that won't disappoint. The P1 has amazing cushy interface that's one of the best designs for experienced riders who want to improve their comfort. It features a padded B3 Gel baseplate cushioning and the same Super Capstrap II found on Burton's ultra-responsive bindings. The P1 versatile flex evolves from a uniquely blended baseplate made from short-glass fiber, polycarbonate and nylon. The P1 also has Burton's Living Hinge Hi-Back, a perfectly padded design that eliminates excess hardware bulk without undermining the structural integrity. The Living Hinge is set up to allow you to adjust your forward lean settings independent of the rotation, so you can tweak the rotation once for the entire season and play with the forward lean as snow conditions change. A pre-curved triple-axis telescoping Superstrap II cinches in your custom fit with a new tool-free strap length adjustment feature that does away with the need for box cutting knives or butcher scissors. This means that you can play with your binding sizing to adapt to a variety of boot sizes. The Super Capstrap II has a 3D contoured shape that molds to your boot toe, pushing your heel back firmly into the binding while holding the foot down for better response. If you're looking for a top-end binding for all-mountain riding but you don't need the space age composites found in extreme competition snowboard bindings, Burton's P1 is everything you need for comfort and durable dependability.

Great Binding.
These bindings are very comfortable and responsive. They also look very cool. I would recommend these to anyone.
Can't say enough
I'm very satisfied with the P1's I have more control and response, in the deep snow I can hold the front up much easier. Oh I really like the latch system I don't have to sit down anymore. I'm glad I took the time to research out quality. Burton always takes care of the customer.
Nice bindings, bad smell
Literally stunk up my house with the plastic/chemical smell. Great binding however with perfect feel. Would highly recommend.
Great Binding
Lots of adjustment everywhere, solid construction, just be sure to tighten up the highback pivot point enough, or else you'll lose your rotation after a day. Also beware of stompin' off the snow from your board with the latches loose-the sturdy buckles will chip up the top of your board. Other than that, great binding with great look in black/clear.
