AK Jackets are great
I've owned and tried several: 2L Stagger 2L Cyclic and one of the 3L jackets, can't remember the name, predecessor to the burn. I think they're great. Super weather proof. This is super similar to the cyclics -- 2 pockets up top, and some fleece on the liner (not warmth, just a soft surface) I ended up liking the styling/color on the cyclic better Keep in mind this jacket is just a shell, you need to wear insulation below. Quibbles: they are a cut a little too large (a half step beyond baggy). The zippers are a bit rough to pull -- maybe just the price you pay for waterproof, but they are work to tug. BTW, the lifetime warranty is excellent. I had a zipper pull come off a pocket zipper on my 3L AK jacket, and Burton just gave me a choice of a brand new one or a full retail price credit at their store. great service.
Great Jacket
its very light but does its job.
Great jacket! Cool look
I bought the jacket off season so I haven't had a chance to put it to use on the mtn. But it's a great looking jacket, nice long sleeves, light weight with tons of pockets.
GREAT Quality and Style
Purchased the Sorcerer color, alot nicer in person. Great in all winter conditions. Kept me nice and dry in the worst conditions. I only buy AK BURTON snowboard gear.
Nice jacket. Kinda big!
From the time I bought my last AK jacket (admittedly, it's quite old at close to 10 years) to this year, the average size of snowboarders must have grown in proportions because my medium is HUGE. I'm 5' 10", 177 lbs., 41" chest and I'm practically swimming in this jacket--even with layers on. Aside from the dubious sizing, the jacket is a well-engineered garment. The quality of construction appears top notch and the materials are superb. I have no doubt that I can weather the foulest conditions with this jacket.
