A soul surfer with a heart for freestyle. The Malolo's shallow taper lets guys like Terje and Nicolas Muller spin off cliffs and kickers, lay it sideways, and blast through stashes with uncompromised flow and precision. Whether it's an epic dump or late day crud, the NEW S-Rocker design equals effortless float that will accelerate you out of even the deepest driving turn.

Powder Float and Agility
I own a Burton Custom X and love it, but wanted a powder board for those pow days. After riding the Malolo, not sure if I'll go back to my Custom X. In addition to benefits of floating on pow and planing through bumps, it handles aggressive riding on steeps well . I normally ride a 158-159 and was concern about sizing down to a 154 but so far don't mind the feel of the shorter board. When it goes on sale I might pick up another and do a 158!
This board truly is a quiver killer!!!
I've been riding for 13 years and I have a total of 5 snowboards in my quiver. I bought this board 4 years ago and never looked back. My other boards might as well not even exist. I blew out the edge on my Malolo a few weeks ago and had to ride some of my old boards for that day. I missed the Malolo so much, I bought a new one as soon as I got home. I've decided to sell all my other boards. I don't need them anymore. This board slays everything! It rips pow like nothing else and it's not too tapered like the Fish so it still has good freestyle versatility. A dream in the trees, it's an awesome board for launching big backcountry kickers with deep pow landings and it kills jumps in the park too. The only thing it probably wouldn't be as good for is the pipe or rails but I don't ride the pipe or do rails so it doesn't matter. So versatile and agile, it slays deep powder but also handles the groomers with ease. Landing big kickers has never been so easy. Once you get used to it you won't want to ride anything else!
A fantastic powder board and holds it own on a resort.
This is my 2nd Malolo. The 1st one I bought was a 158 and great for the fresh or groomers back home in OZ. I wanted to get a 162 for the powder in North America and the board rides like a dream. I know that if I am on this board I am going to have a load of fun no matter what the conditions are and when it is deep and fresh it is unstoppable!
All mountain board.
I have been riding Burton boards since I was 16 and I am 35 now, and I even had until las year one of the "OG" Supermodel boards and this Malolo is the answer to that board. Carves the whole mountain. Not very great in the park, but then again, I am 35. Not hanging out there anymore. Great for trees, pow, groomers and just all around fun. Buy it!!
NJ, what the ?
I have last years Malolo and it's the best powder, slash the mountain board I've ever owned. I must be "a punk trixster". NJ is a dipstick and most likley dosen't even ride. The Malolo is not a trick board. It's a kick butt mountain machine.
