Pro team riders asked for it, so Bern developed the Bern Watts Helmet for men with a visor lid, full venting functionality, and a snap-in clip system that accommodates cold weather liners so it works for 4 season riding. This Hard Hat Helmet is made with Brock soft foam for multiple low-impact protection and does not meet action sports head protection standards.

really cool !
bern watts helmet is relly good stuff. Just picked up the Watts hardhat in matte black gray white. It looks great. One of the most low-profile protective lids I've found. My Anon hawkeye goggles seem to fit well with the helmet A drawback for some could be that it's not technically a "helmet", i.e. it doesn't meet the testing standards necessary to certify it as a high-impact protective helmet. For me, I currently ride with no head protection, so even this "hardhat" is 1000% better than my current situation. I'm also not chucking myself off of huge jumps though, so the worst I expect is a little tumble down the hill or off a flat-down box. I would have liked to see some adjustability built in but there is none. You just have to pick the closest size for your head and live with it possibly being a little too loose or a little too snug. Competitors' helmets go for less cash and have more adjustment capability.
Bern Watts Hardhat
This is my second snowboarding helmet purchase. My first was a classic Giro. The Bern is way better! Looks great and feels great. The helmet is very warm too. I purchased the audio upgrade and it sounds great too. You have no controls with the supplied cable however. I will continue to ride with this helmet and enjoy every minute of it!!
Great purchase
I bought this helmut for my son who is 12. He loves it, says it's really comfortable and warm. The large fits great with a little room to grow into. The blue color is really sharp, too.
Great Helmet
Love this helmet. Nice and comfortable, I'm actually using it for wakeboarding and snowboarding. The padding is a bit thicker since I got the snowboarding version, but it's still good for wakeboarding, just holds a bit more water. Comfortable, looks good and fits even better. Dirt cheap compared to in stores too.
I recommend this!
I've used a Bern for the past few seasons and really appreciate the low profile styling and fit. It's a helmet that for me never is "perfect" out of the box but ends up fitting really well, especially as I get a few days of riding in with it. Anyway I recommend this!
