Solid all-around snowshoe
Bought these for my wife for xmas and so far she loves them. The binding system is easy to use (even with gloves on) and comfortable. So far, only tried them on packed snow, but going for some more powder / backcountry hiking this weekend.

Nice quality
Snowshoes look like they are very well made, should hold up well. Only problem is, they throw snow up onto my back and thighs every step I take! After about a mile I was soaked! It appears to be a design flaw (maybe the shape of the tails) because they pick up snow and throw it it into the air with every step. I have tried them on hard packed snow and up to 12" of powder. They do it EVERY step, regardless of conditions. If you don't mind the wet back, they look like they would last many years. I, however, am taking advantage of Altrec's wonderful return policy and getting a different style of snowshoe.
