excellent fit, feel & function!
i love these pants! wore them for 2 & 1/2 days on a spring backpacking trip in new hampshire & by late sunday afternoon when it was time to head home, they still felt & looked fresh. very very comfortable to move in, whether hiking or running errands around town. have washed mine several times and they come out looking great & ready to go after a light iron. i'm 5'6" @140lbs with an athletic build and size med fits like a glove. i wear mine to work with a nicer top. versatile, durable and functional. i would have given durability & quality 5 stars except that the material snagged on a bramble - it didn't tear, just snagged - i don't climb, but it makes me wonder what would happen if you did wear these climbing. but for my purposes, i LOVE them!

These are the best pants ever!
I'm running the Chilkoot Trail later this month and needed a high quality breathable pant. These fit the bill perfectly! They wear and move well, have a nice style, and this fit is excellent. My hiking partners all decided to get them after then checked mine out. I plan to wear them in winter for skiing. They were a worthwhile investment!

Wanted a pant for touring Prague in winter 2011. This pant gives you the flexibility to layer up if needed. The stretch fabric gives a wonderful and stylist fit, can be wore for outside/inside activities. Well done Arc'teryx!

very cool as well excellent quality. but not roomy enough
They really should be a roomier fit for outdoor activities, like martial arts in the winter, which is why I ordered them, but I couldn't even use them for snowboarding or hiking. And I'm skinny. Too too bad. But I'll keep trying Altrec, a fine company w/ nice people.

quality was impecable, fit was small.
I've purchased previous years models of this pant at a size medium. They did not have the draw cord bottom and the fit was alot roomier. I like the previous years models better for this reason, but these are still great pants and high quality construction.
