The Silo 30 backpack is the best backpack for skier. I take my snowboard by silo 30. It's COOL! BUY IT!

Excellent purchase
The pack is definitely the best day pack I've ever owned. It distributes weight in amazing Arcteryx fashion. Pockets are amazingly placed.The pack was light and did not inhibit me during climbing, and it skied well without giving me any balance issues while dropping steep terrain. Overall, I definitely recommend it for day and half-day touring.

my friend had a same backpack in different color, so I knew how well this backpack works for ski and snowboarding. everything I need for backcountry sky fits in this backpack, so I love it!!

large enough for a helmet
It fits everything. Layers, hydration bladder, even my helmet if I wanna switch to my beanies. Never felt so solid securing my skis or snowboard to my pack. My only complaint is that it seems pretty big (I got the regular), but then I'm 5'6 150lb.

Awesome bag
I just got this bag for my boyfriend who is an advid ice climber. He LOVES it! He used it twice since Christmas, and said that everything was designed with his tools in mind, and loves the material the bag is made of. He said the size is perfect too.
