This is the only shorts I work out in since it came from Altrec
This is the best shorts I own and I used it for working out every since it came from Altrec. It is fast drying. The fit is very athletic and draws attention, like it or not. I have the black in Medium, I am 185lbs 5'7" and it fits well. I am a 34" waste. I intent to use this shorts for hiking. I am sure that it will find its way into my pack for all of my adventures due to its packability and small weight.

Nice Trekking short
A very good item was bought. It looked for shorts put on to trekking. Because this pants were seen, it liked it at one view. It is the highest pants in trekking.

Excellent hiking short
I like these better the the tactician shorts, I like to have the draw string. Wore them all week in Acadia. You will need some compression shorts or something to go with them though.

This shorts is average at best, especially considering the cost. I first bought it for the intended purpose of hiking. But the legs seem too short and the material is not suitable for the aggressive types of hikes that I engage in. If you want a light weight shorts, then go for it. But it didn't suit my expected needs.
