Wonderful for active snow sports
Purchased these for active snowsports and use primairly as a baselayer for snowshoeing. Breathes very well and proper level of warmth retention with a shell pant. High quality fabric with good stetch and the Phase SV dries out quickly as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

Saves the day
Its the lightest and the warmest base layer I have ever had. Its very good quality and breaths very well. They stretch better than other base layers I had before and dry out almost immediately.

great long johns.
Men's version should have a fly for going to the bathroom. very comfortable next to the skin. I've used them in area and back country. They were warm enough under shell pants on a 7deg. day at Arapaho Basin. They breath well while skinning and dry quickly.

It 's lighter than I thought it would be. It 's not better than Arc'teryx Rho ar bottom in providing warm. But it's more breathable and more suitable for these winter outdoor activities such as skiing. Moreover, it's high quality and fits me a little large.

Phase SV Bottom
I purchased these for December skiing in Vermont. They are very warm, yet breathable. I was nice and warm, while not overheating during skiing. They were a little large length wise. They are a fantastic base layer. Mid-Weight is a great description, but I can't imagine wearing anything heavier.
