Awesome, versatile pack
This is seriously one of the best things I've bought in a while. What makes this pack a standout is that you can wear it cross body and as a hip pack - outstanding. The pics don't show it but there's some great organizational features as well. The main section unzips to reveal a zippered pocket as well as two smaller slip pockets (about 2.5-2.75" each) on the inside front. The front zippered pocket has a clip for your keys. The whole interior is a bright orange so you can easily find your stuff. The back is padded with some airy mesh and the whole thing is surprisingly light. You can really stuff this and it's still comfortable to carry. I was able to comfortably fit my wallet, brick sized blackberry, keys, a tin of altoids, and my sunglasses with just a little room left. The minor downsides include strap management, especially when wearing as a hip pack - there's no where to clip the excess strap so they flap around a bit. A minor annoyance. When wearing it as a cross body you basically have to wear it at the full drop length because it doesn't hold very well when the pack is fully loaded. It's ok though because you want most cross body packs to hang low anyway but it would have been nice to wear it slightly higher. Again a minor quibble. Given the price point for this level of quality - it's an awesome buy, and btw, Altrec can't be beat for service - I ordered this on a Monday and got it Wednesday (and I don't live near their distribution center)!
That is it!
I purchased this bag for my girlfriend and obviously it is a sweet wonderful gift, as she loves it very much! "That is the small pack I wanna to have", she told me. The color I purchased is Celadon, which is very nice and beautiful, fits her very much. This pack is very cute, I think it is a beautiful bag for girls. Excellent Arcteryx quality as alway, nice design, very durable, very fit for a little going out or taking a trip!
Great little bag
Arc'teryx did another good job with this pack. It works great as a fanny pack as well as a sling bag. Good size and very usable compartments. A great item to bring along for a side trip or if you like to carry a lot of small stuff.
Perfect Gift
I recently ordered this for my girlfriend. She has an obsession with buying purses, so I figured I'd convert her to the very best. For how cheap this is, you get everything you pay for, and even more. Its the perfect over the shoulder bag, or fanny pack for hiking. I know my girlfriend doesn't want to be the one carrying the daypack, so I figured she wouldn't mind this :) All in all, I know she's satisfied, but I like it just as much. Its cheap and you get so many different functions out of it. Don't even read the other reviews, trust me, its the perfect day bag! 10/10!
It's smaller and lighter than I thought it would be. But it's very suitable for urban use. I could put my cell phone, camera ,cash and many items to it. Moreover, It has a high quality like other Arc'teryx items. My friends like it too, as it looks so stylish, thanks Altrec.com!
