    Lonely Planet review

This upstart hostel has fun common areas in a cool building that wraps around an interior courtyard. There are three dorm rooms that sleep six to eight people, plus a handful of private rooms with or without attached bathrooms. The dorms are worth it, with large pine bunks, heat (yes!), comfy mattresses and thick comforters.

You can leave your luggage here for B$3 per day. Waiting for a train? Stop by for a hot shower (B$15) before heading on your way.
