Lonely Planet review for Para Ti Chocolates

Thanks to Sucre’s status as Bolivia’s chocolate capital, there are plenty of stores that cater to sweet tooths. The best is Para Ti Chocolates, where tasty bonbons are only the tip of the iceberg.

    A must for anyone traveling through Sucre

    We stopped in here a few times while we were in Sucre. The have the most delicious hot chocolate and other chocolate drinks to try. They also have a beautiful skewer of fruits drizzled with chocolate, and chocolates with liquor. There were a few very cold nights for us in Sucre, and Para Ti warmed us right up. The prices were right too. We had 2 rich chocolate drinks and a few pieces of chocolate for 18 BS.

    I wasn't thrilled with their chocolates for sale, but I did like their chocolate bars. They have bars for baking, and also bars for gifts. The smallest bar costs 6 BS and would be a nice little treat for your family or friends when you get home. They also had boxes of various chocolates.

    The girls in Para Ti with the exception of one at one of their locations were all very friendly and accommodating. They will help you find the gift or chocolate that's perfect for you.

    Para Ti is one of those things that tourists have to do when they come to Sucre. You will not be disappointed.
