New administration - avoid!!!!

The school is under new administration and the focus has completely changed. They don't care much about the experience that their students have or the improvement they make in Spanish. All the experienced teachers have left and the new teachers, although really nice and try their best, are not trained, given any guidance or any resources.
There are plenty of other schools in Sucre that are to a much higher standard.

Avoid Fox Academy

I have been told by a former teacher that ownership and also attitute have changed at fox. The teachers get paid less and the non profit idea is not more then advertisement for good hearted travellers. Many teachers have left and have joyned other schools or founded new ones. I had one day of lessons and the teacher was not really up for it. No structure and no fun! Check out other travellers expierences and also check how much the teachers get paid and theire involvment in community support. If needed I can refer one school which is cheaper, which is owned by the teachers themself and let locals learn for very little or non, depended on their income. Have fun in Sucre!
