There’s no ATM here, so beware. You can get cash advances at Prodem Bank (Comercio; 8am-6pm Mon-Fri, to 2pm Sat), but only on Visa and MasterCard (including Visa debit cards). It also does Western Union transfers and changes cash. Some tour agencies and hotels change traveler’s checks (4% to 5% commission). Tours can usually be paid for with credit cards, and some bars, agencies and hotels may be willing to facilitate cash advances.
