Copacabana Restaurants

  1. Café Bistrot

The only thing missing from this place is Oscar from Sesame Street. There are colored tables and 'The Nest' corner for reading, writing or chilling over a drink. There are also musical instruments, including an Australian didgeridoo, and even Vegemite and Marmite (spreads) for Aussies and Brits. Like any pre-school, it's a tad messy, and the food takes 20 minutes as the dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients.

  2. Pueblo El Viejo

Readers love this rustic, cozy and chilled café-bar, with its ethnic décor, hippy lighting and laid-back atmosphere. It's run by hipsters and is possibly the only place in town where you can get a half-decent coffee (thanks in part due to an imported Italian espresso machine).
