As there is a shortage of Yellow fever vaccine around the world how difficult to enter Bolivia without the yellow fever stamp by bus from Peru? Or could we get the vaccine at the airport in Lima? I have read that it was possible.
Please enlighten me on the matter. Thank you.

I found some terrific reviews of this agency but they are all several years old. Other recommendations for agencies to do various 2-4 day tours in various parts of Bolivia? I don't want an end-to-end experience, but will be traveling on my own and don't want to have to look after everything on the ground by myself. Thanks

Hello ,

i am looking for a reliable car+driver (individual or company) that could bring 4 adults from La Paz to San Pedro de Atacama (or to the Chilean border) through Sajama National Park, Potosi and Salar de Uyuni.

Hi! My daughter and I are going to Bolivia in August. We're flying into Chile and am hoping to get an internal return flight to la paz. I decided on Bolivia because I'm interested in the culture and nature. I'd love to see patagonia but I think she is too young for hiking etc. My idea is to stay about 4-5 days in a main town/city and do day trips from that base. I'm a bit concerned about the altitude so will spend maybe a week in la paz to acclimatize. My daughter has done small treks before -…

Hey guys, I am backpacking 2 month in Colombia, Peru and Bolivia between September-November. What do you think about my rough itinerary? I plan to fly into Cartagena, Colombia and out of Bogota to Lima, Peru, then fly home out of La Paz, Bolivia. Is there a cheaper way to fly in, out and around South America? I plan to bus through towns, how much time and money should I budget for?
Fly into Cartagena, Colombia (I will be in Colombia about 2 ½ - 3 weeks)
Taganga (party-2 days)
Minca (Sierra Nevada…

Hello friends,

my shoes will soon have no profile left so I need some new ones. The problem is, I have size 49 (that is 14 in UK and I think 15 in US).
I tried to find some in Sucre but no one has bigger ones than 45. People told me there are second hand sellers which get there stuff from the US in big bags, so they sometimes have bigger sizes but still I coudn't find any.

Now my hope is to find some in La Paz.
Does anyone know a place that has big shoes?
Or would there be any other options…

Reading the guidebooks and the internet, it looks like this is exceptionally hard to get to, and we had kinda written it off. However, it truly sounds like a marvellous place, and we will be somewhat in this corner of Bolivia (Santa Cruz and the missionary loop). Does anybody have any recent information on how to get to Florida (or what looks even harder, the northern camp), and how much time and money to budget for a trip. The scarce information I have found indicates a guide, and an entry…

Hi all,

Any recommended trekking routes? For relative beginners so nothing massively strenuous. We plan to stay in La Paz so anything within that region and then go from La Paz to Uyuni Salt Flats.

Hi all,

Anyone have a suggested route travelling by bus from La Paz to Uyuni. Anywhere worthwhile stopping over/visiting?

I'd like to skip a day of travel and waiting, time traveling to Uyuni, to start a salt flat tour the following morning. Most tours look to start around 10-11AM.

Is there any tours that start in Potosi, that have a bus to Uyuni, and continue onto the traditional 3 day tour the same day?

Or would it be possible to find a bus or car Early AM the same day to arrive in Uyuni for the tour?

What I want to find is an:** Early Bus (6-7AM same day as the tour)** that arrives in time for the tour to…
