Back-Stube Konditorei
By far the best place to eat in town itself, this welcoming bakery-restaurant is a winner at any time of day. There are excellent breakfasts and coffee, tempting cakes and pastries (applause for the cinnamon rolls), as well as pasta, vegetarian plates and memorable sauerbraten (marinated pot-roast beef) with spätzle (Swabian dough noodles). There's a great terraced area, and a book exchange.
