Driving songs

We all have our favourite driving songs, tracks you like to play while motoring along, very often connected to the landscape outside the car.
In our Thread of the Day, new Thorn Tree user domtee throws to the floor for suggestions for the best driving songs for a trip in a convertible he's taking with his girlfriend through California. The duo are putting together a mixtape of songs that mention or allude to places they are passing through.
