Talk2Us – Traveller Feedback and Lonely Planet

Right from the beginning Tony and Maureen Wheeler decided that interaction with travellers was an essential part of Lonely Planet. Since then we’ve always taken traveller feedback very seriously and tried to respect the trouble that travellers have taken to contact us.
Obviously, things have changed a bit over the years – we get more feedback than ever and most of it comes electronically rather than by post now. We currently have a team of 6 people, who are dedicated to reading all the feedback travellers submit, whether by post, email, phone or using our website.
Wherever possible we respond to feedback. We don't claim to be perfect or that we get it all right and there are times when the sheer volume of feedback makes it difficult to reply individually to everything.
We try to make sure that the feedback and our recommendations get to the people at Lonely Planet who need to hear and act on it: the editors, cartographers, publishers and of course, the authors.
We also thank and sometimes reward contributors. You may have noticed an Our Readers "thanks" list, which appears in all our guidebooks.
Though we can't guarantee a reply to everything you submit, we can guarantee that if your feedback reaches us, we do our damnedest to put it to good use.
We're always keen to hear from you, whether you:
We look forward to hearing from you.
