Lonely Planet community member TonyK has shared a photo he snapped in St Petersberg in February that for him, encapsulates Russian character.
It's the 'personal sigh' misprint that be believes evokes "that special blend of fatalism and sentimentality that has been ascribed to the Russian character ever since Tolstoy."
