In the spirit of getting out there and going for it, Lonely Planet is supporting this year's Urban Max Adventure, Australia’s own Amazing Race, with events in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
Armed with only a map, a clue sheet and your wits, teams navigate their way around to complete a variety of tasks and challenges.
Within the course of the race, you'll find a Lonely Planet checkpoint where we'll send you on a roller coaster ride through the heart of the city with our guidebooks.
