Nice camera work, insightful commentary and whiz-bang editing all help to bring your travel video to life. But sometimes the clip that captures the attention and the imagination is simply about being there and recording the moment.
Whether it be a quirky way of delivering a refrigerator delivering a refrigerator; capturing an unusual surfing style in Yemen, or finding a six metre (!) anaconda while taking a walk in Venezuela.
In these cases, it's less about post-production skills and your Mac Book Pro, and more about letting the action unfold before you. Keep your eyes open, your camera rolling - and enjoy!
Show us what you've got at Lonelyplanet.tv and you could earn US$500.
