Some slate February as being the most drab month of the year, but if our Pathfinders are anything to go by that is certainly not the case. This month our round-up features colourful cultural offerings as well as a healthy dose of adventure, from kayaking coastlines to jungle trekking and exploring desert geysers.

Jessica’s post takes us off the typical tourist trail of Santorini and into the azure waters surrounding its coastline. With a narrative that combines great storytelling and some interesting facts (as well as some great pics) it makes for an insightful and engaging read.

A trip to Paris ten years ago had Jessica hooked on travel. Follow her blog at boardingpasstraveller.com

Jungle trekking on the island of Langkawi – Mikaela Standing

Mikaela’s travel tale reads like a short story which works beautifully to convey her breathtaking experience trekking to spot flying lemurs in Malaysia. She deftly takes us with her on her journey into the jungle, but you’ll have to read on yourself to find out what she discovered there…
