This elegant restaurant showcases Bhutanese cuisine (in addition to a multicuisine menu) in a spacious but warm setting that features traditional seating, a traditional kitchen and store room. It was designed with tour groups in mind, so you can dive into ema datse (chillies and cheese) and other local dishes without calling for the fire brigade. Finish off with a warm arra – the local firewater.

    bland and expensive

    sholok does not recommend this,

    We had the Bhtanese buffet there. It was, like everything else, quite expensive, unless you earn in dollars, i suppose. Didn't enjoy the food much. My mother liked the Ema Datche because she likes hot chilies. Everything else was bland. If you're looking for great Bhutanese food items, find a nice little local place in some corner. Or at least don't opt for the buffet.
