I've been thinking about taking a tour of Nepal, Bhutan and possibly also Tibet. Can anyone recommend a dependable tour operator? I had a look at himalayasguide.com but have never heard of them before.

Bhutan plans to open 6 new land entry points by October for Indian travellers.

  1. Tode
  2. Lalbasti
  3. Jiti tea estate
  4. Nagrakata
  5. Banarhat
  6. Birpara

Indian citizens will not need a visa or permit to enter through the above entry points. All the six entry points are accessible from Darjeeling.

My mom and are traveling to Bhutan in March 2017 and we're looking for recommendations on travel guides/agents. Does anyone have a good suggestion? Also, is anyone looking for travel partners during March 2017? Two females, 20s and 60s.

Hi
I’m planning a tour to Bhutan. I’d like to spend a couple of days in a monastery to learn how to meditate and then to make a visit to the country.
Do you recommend any tour agency to arrange everything (namely the monastery - do you recomend any?
thanks
